Glue instead of stitches? new study tests faster circumcision healing

NCT ID NCT06487494

Summary

This small pilot study tested whether using surgical glue with a few stitches is as good as a long line of stitches for closing the wound after an adult circumcision. Researchers compared the two methods in 20 men to see which led to less pain, better cosmetic results, fewer complications, and higher patient satisfaction during recovery. The goal was to see if the glue method could be a simpler, effective alternative for wound closure.
