Could a common stroke drug speed up brain bleed recovery?
NCT ID NCT06504576
First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests whether cilostazol, a drug already used for stroke prevention, can help the brain clear blood clots faster after a bleeding stroke (intracerebral hemorrhage). About 100 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either cilostazol plus standard care or standard care alone for two weeks. The main goal is to see if the drug safely reduces clot size and improves recovery over three months.
