NCT ID NCT07249853
First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests whether the drug cilostazol can prevent delayed brain injury (called delayed cerebral ischemia) in people who have had a bleeding aneurysm. About 316 adults aged 18-80 who had surgery to fix the aneurysm will be randomly assigned to receive either cilostazol or a placebo. The goal is to see if the drug reduces the risk of new brain damage and improves recovery at 90 days.
