Summary

This early-phase trial tested the safety of adding an experimental drug called cilengitide to standard chemotherapy and radiation for people with locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Fourteen patients received the drug continuously along with their usual treatment. The main goal was to find the highest safe dose and see how well the combination worked.
