Virtual store tests if new taxes can change Smokers' habits
NCT ID NCT07142668
Summary
This study aims to understand how different tax proposals on cigarettes and other tobacco products might change what smokers choose to buy. Researchers will use a virtual marketplace to see how over 300 daily smokers spend a budget when faced with four different tax plans. The goal is to gather information that could help shape future tobacco policies, not to provide treatment to participants.
