New study checks eczema drug safety for pregnant women and babies

Summary

This study follows 400 pregnant women with eczema to see if the drug abrocitinib (CIBINQO) is safe during pregnancy. Half the women take the drug, the other half do not. Researchers track birth defects and infant health up to 12 months after birth. No extra doctor visits are needed; data is collected from routine care.
