Summary
This study tests whether community health workers, guided by a mobile app and remote doctor oversight, can manage high blood pressure as effectively as a physician. Researchers will enroll 460 adults with hypertension in rural Guatemala and compare blood pressure changes over 12-24 months. If successful, this approach could expand access to care in underserved areas.
