First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests a new shoe called CHUT OTONOM® designed to improve walking stability and reduce fall risk in people aged 65 and older who have fallen at least once in the past six months. Researchers will compare walking speed and other gait measures when wearing the special shoes versus the participants' usual shoes. The goal is to see if better footwear can help prevent falls in older adults.
