Eat when your body says so: new diet study aims to shrink dangerous belly fat

NCT ID NCT07062315

Summary

This study is testing whether matching your daily eating window to your natural body clock (whether you're an 'early bird' or 'night owl') is better for reducing belly fat and improving health than a standard eating schedule. Researchers will compare these two time-restricted eating approaches over 12 weeks in 90 inactive adults with excess weight around their middle. The goal is to see if a personalized eating schedule leads to greater improvements in body fat, blood sugar, and cholesterol.
