Summary

This study looks at 140 adults with heart disease who need non-emergency surgery. It compares two approaches: treating blocked heart arteries before surgery versus waiting until after surgery. The goal is to see which timing leads to fewer major heart problems like heart attack or death. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups.
