First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study will test whether a special electrical stimulation device (FREMS) plus the drug phenytoin can help heal chronic ulcers in people with diabetes. Twenty-six participants will be split into two groups: one gets the new combo, the other gets standard care. Researchers will measure wound size monthly for three months to see if the combo works better.
