Hands-On therapy vs. nerve block: which eases chronic tailbone pain better?

NCT ID NCT07426497

Summary

This study aims to find out which of two common treatments works better for people with long-lasting tailbone pain (coccydynia). 100 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either osteopathic manual therapy (a specialized hands-on treatment) or a ganglion impar block (a targeted injection to numb pain nerves). Researchers will measure changes in pain levels and how much the pain interferes with daily activities over three months to see which approach provides more relief.
