New Long-Lasting injection tested for Men's chronic groin pain

NCT ID NCT05707208

Summary

This study tested whether a new, longer-lasting lidocaine injection (called ST-01) works better than standard lidocaine shots to reduce chronic scrotal pain in men. 63 men with pain lasting over 3 months received up to four injections, one every 28 days. The main goal was to see if the new treatment was safe and more effective at reducing pain scores after two months.
