First seen Mar 12, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study asks 200 adults with chronic pain which side effects of pain medications they find least acceptable compared to the pain relief they get. Participants will rate how much they value avoiding issues like drowsiness, nausea, or addiction versus getting pain relief. The results could help doctors choose better treatments based on what patients truly care about.
