New tool measures how patients think about their chronic pain

NCT ID NCT06698406

Summary

This study aimed to validate a French version of a questionnaire that measures whether chronic pain patients believe their pain involves physical, psychological, and social factors. Researchers gave the new questionnaire to 80 French-speaking adults with chronic pain to see if it reliably measures these beliefs. The goal was to create a better tool for doctors to understand patient perspectives, not to test a treatment.
