First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study aims to find out how many people experience long-term pain after bunion (hallux valgus) surgery and what factors might increase that risk. Researchers will review medical records and ask 350 adults who had surgery between 2021 and 2024 to fill out pain and risk questionnaires. The goal is to better understand and potentially prevent chronic pain after this common procedure.
