Summary
This study tested an experimental drug called VIR-2218, given alone or with another medicine (peginterferon), in 84 adults with chronic hepatitis B. The goal was to check safety and how well the drug works against the virus. Researchers measured side effects and looked for drops in hepatitis B surface antigen levels in the blood.
