Researchers look back to see which treatment works best for rare immune disease

NCT ID NCT02116764

Summary

This study looked back at the medical records of 137 patients with Chronic Granulomatous Disease (CGD), a rare immune disorder. It compared the long-term survival and health of patients who received a stem cell transplant to those who received standard medical care. The goal was to learn which patients benefit most from a transplant and what type of transplant works best.
