Major study aims to unlock secrets of serious transplant complication
NCT ID NCT00092235
Summary
This study aims to learn more about chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD), a serious and complex condition that can occur after a stem cell transplant. Researchers will observe about 650 patients, including some who have had transplants but do not have cGVHD, to identify markers that might predict outcomes and improve understanding of the disease. The goal is to gather knowledge that can lead to better tools for diagnosis, grading, and future treatments.
