Researchers track survival of China's most critically ill patients

Summary
This study aims to understand what happens to critically ill patients who stay in intensive care for extended periods. Researchers will follow 459 patients across China who have been in ICU for at least 8 days with serious conditions like organ failure or severe infections. They will conduct telephone check-ins over one year to track survival rates and identify factors that affect patient outcomes.
