Summary
This study tested an experimental drug called GDC-6599 in 49 adults with long-term cough that doesn't go away with standard treatments. The goal was to see if the drug could reduce how often people coughed and how bad the cough felt. Participants took the drug or a placebo for a period, then switched, and their cough was recorded with a special device. The study is complete, and results will help decide if larger trials are needed.
