New device aims to ease the struggle of chronic constipation

NCT ID NCT04666155

Summary

This study is testing if a new medical device called MOWOOT can help adults with long-term constipation feel better and improve their quality of life. It compares MOWOOT's 'intermittent colonic exoperistalsis' treatment against the standard trans-anal irrigation method that participants already use. The main goal is to see which approach leads to greater symptom relief and better daily living for people bothered by this condition.
