Summary
This study tested whether a small implanted device that stimulates nerves (ReActiv8) works better than standard medical care for people with long-term low back pain. It involved 203 adults whose back pain hadn't improved with medications or physical therapy and who weren't candidates for surgery. Researchers compared pain levels and daily function after one year to see which approach provided more relief.
