Choline doses tested for brain signals in menopause
NCT ID NCT06924541
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at whether small doses of choline (550 mg and 1100 mg) can change brain activity in healthy postmenopausal women aged 50-65. Participants took choline or a placebo, and their brain signals were measured with fMRI during a memory task. The goal was to see if lower doses work like a higher dose, not to treat any condition.
