Brain scan study tests Choline's effect after menopause
NCT ID NCT07264257
Summary
This study investigated whether a single large dose of choline, an essential nutrient, affects brain activity in postmenopausal women. Researchers gave 38 healthy women either choline or a placebo and then used brain scans to measure activity during memory tasks. The goal was to understand how hormone changes after menopause might influence the brain's response to this nutrient.
