Summary

This study directly compared two cholesterol-lowering medications—Inclisiran (given as two injections) and Bempedoic Acid (taken as a daily pill)—in 402 adults with heart disease who still had high cholesterol despite taking maximum statin therapy. The goal was to see which drug worked better at lowering 'bad' LDL cholesterol over 150 days. This real-world comparison helps doctors choose the most effective add-on treatment for patients needing extra cholesterol control.
