Researchers race to gather data on lifesaving choking techniques
NCT ID NCT07365137
Summary
This study aims to collect better information on which first aid treatments work best when someone is choking. Researchers in Alberta, Canada, will gather details from real-life choking incidents involving adults and children over age 2. The goal is to see if they can reliably collect this data now, to support a future study that directly compares the safety and effectiveness of different choking relief methods.
