NCT ID NCT07471087
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests if a special balloon called the Chocolate PTA balloon prepares leg arteries better than a standard balloon before using a drug-coated balloon to treat blockages. About 242 adults with peripheral artery disease will take part. The goal is to see if the Chocolate balloon reduces the need for emergency stents and improves long-term blood flow.
