This phase 3 trial tests whether a daily dose of sodium-copper-chlorophyllin, a chlorophyll derivative, can reduce long-term bladder and bowel side effects from radiation therapy in 316 women with locally advanced cervical cancer. Participants take the supplement for 3 months after completing standard chemoradiation.
