Summary

This study tests whether adding chlorophyllin, a natural compound, to standard cancer treatment can lower side effects like bowel, bladder, and blood problems in people with advanced rectal cancer. About 76 adults will receive either chlorophyllin or a placebo alongside their usual therapy. The goal is to see if the supplement helps patients feel better and maintain a good quality of life during treatment.
