NCT ID NCT03440970
Summary
This early research study aims to understand how giving chloride supplements without sodium affects people with stable heart failure. Researchers will closely monitor 20 hospitalized patients to see how chloride impacts their blood volume, kidney function, and body chemistry. The goal is to gather basic biological information that could inform future treatments, not to provide immediate therapeutic benefits.
