Can more chiropractic visits ease Veterans' chronic back pain?

NCT ID NCT04087291

Summary

This study tested whether a higher number of chiropractic visits is more effective than a lower number for treating chronic low back pain in Veterans. It also looked at whether receiving monthly maintenance chiropractic care afterward helps keep pain and disability lower over a longer period. The goal was to find the best treatment schedule to improve function and reduce pain while potentially decreasing the use of other healthcare services like medications.
