Ancient greek remedy put to the test for modern stomach woes

NCT ID NCT06909890

Summary

This study is testing whether a daily beverage containing a natural extract from Chios mastic resin can help ease common stomach symptoms like pain, bloating, and fullness. For three months, 60 adults with dyspepsia will drink either the mastic-enriched beverage or a placebo version. Researchers will measure changes in symptom severity and quality of life to see if this traditional remedy offers relief.
