Summary
This study aimed to understand how difficult childhood experiences affect mental health and social functioning in early adulthood. Researchers followed over 2,600 young adults in Switzerland for several years, using online surveys to track their well-being. The goal was to identify factors that help or hinder recovery from childhood adversity.
