Brain scans reveal why some kids struggle with weight loss
NCT ID NCT04520490
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a weekly medication to family-based behavioral therapy helps children aged 10-12 manage obesity better. Researchers will use brain scans to understand how children's brains respond to food cues and whether this affects weight loss. The goal is to improve long-term weight management by combining behavioral support with medical treatment.
