Summary
This study tested a family-centered program called Communities for Healthy Living (CHL) to prevent obesity in young children. The program worked with Head Start centers serving low-income families to promote healthy eating and physical activity. Researchers aimed to see if involving parents and staff in decision-making could help children maintain a healthy weight. The trial was terminated before completion.
