New hope for kids with tough lymphoma: stronger drugs tested to boost survival

NCT ID NCT02405676

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a targeted drug called rituximab and using higher doses of chemotherapy can improve survival for children and adolescents with advanced forms of B-cell lymphoma or leukemia. It compares this new approach to a previous treatment plan used in China. The goal is to help patients with more severe disease live longer without their cancer returning.
