NCT ID NCT03196453

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 36 times

Summary

This study was designed to see if a probiotic protein drink could help manage weight gain in children aged 2 to 5 who were gaining weight faster than expected. The plan was to give some children the probiotic drink and others a placebo for three months, then measure weight changes. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
