New numbing technique tested for Kids' surgery pain
NCT ID NCT07426939
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to manage pain after lower abdominal surgery in children aged 1 to 8. Researchers will compare two different numbing injections given during surgery: a common lower back (caudal) block and a newer back muscle (erector spinae plane) block. The main goal is to see which method provides better and longer-lasting pain relief after the operation.
