Summary

This study aims to understand why some children experience more pain, side effects, or long-term discomfort after major spine surgery. Researchers are following 880 adolescents to see if their genes, stress levels, or other personal factors can predict their recovery. The goal is to gather knowledge to help doctors better manage pain and tailor treatments for future patients.
