Can a simple guide help ease Kids' hospital fears?
NCT ID NCT07325890
Summary
This study is testing whether a structured guide, called a decision tree, helps Child Life Specialists do their jobs better. These specialists work in hospitals to support children's emotional and social needs during medical care. Researchers are comparing specialists who use the new guide against those using their usual methods to see if it improves their skills and helps children feel less pain and anxiety.
