Can kids choosing their own goals make therapy more effective?
NCT ID NCT05017363
Summary
This study is testing a new way to help children with disabilities get more out of their therapy. It involves teaching therapists how to help kids aged 5-12 set their own personal goals for treatment. Researchers want to see if this child-focused approach, called ENGAGE, leads to better results in daily activities, participation, and quality of life for the child and family compared to usual therapy practices.
