New study aims to catch developmental delays early in children exposed to HIV
NCT ID NCT07457411
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to check for brain development delays in young children exposed to HIV during their regular doctor visits in Botswana and Kenya. It will test two different quick screening methods to see which one is easier for healthcare workers to use, more acceptable to parents, and more cost-effective. The goal is to gather information to help clinics implement better early screening so children who need extra support can be identified sooner.
