New hope for kids with tough cancers: trial tests Double-Team drug strategy

Summary
This study is testing two different drug combinations to find safe doses and see if they can help control cancer in children and young adults whose solid tumors have come back or haven't responded to treatment. In the first part, participants will be assigned to receive either Onivyde with talazoparib or Onivyde with temozolomide. The goal is to damage cancer cells and block their ability to repair themselves. Later, the study will focus on seeing if these combinations can help shrink tumors, especially in patients with Ewing sarcoma.
