New hope to stop childhood Cancer's return

NCT ID NCT04469530

Summary

This study is testing whether a 12-month course of oral medications can help keep cancer from coming back in children and young adults with high-risk solid tumors. After finishing standard treatment, participants take a combination of drugs (sirolimus, celecoxib, and low-dose chemotherapy) for a year. The goal is to see if this 'maintenance' approach improves the two-year survival rate without the cancer progressing, compared to just watching and waiting.
