Scientists search Kids' lungs for clues to stop wheezing
NCT ID NCT07232550
Summary
This study aims to find biological markers in children's airways that can help predict how asthma and chronic bronchitis will progress. Researchers will analyze fluid and tissue samples from 160 children who are already scheduled for a lung scope procedure for medical reasons. The goal is to understand why some children respond poorly to current treatments and to improve future care.
