New shorter therapy aims to get kids faster help for anxiety

NCT ID NCT05686512

Summary

This study is testing if a new, shorter therapy program for childhood anxiety can work well in primary care clinics. It will involve 30 children, aged 7-12, with mild to moderate anxiety. Researchers want to see if this simpler, 'stepped care' approach is a practical and acceptable way to provide faster, easier access to effective treatment.
