Can a chicory root supplement help the gut after skin cancer?
NCT ID NCT07206017
Summary
This study is exploring whether taking a daily chicory root fiber supplement for 6 weeks changes gut bacteria and immune cells in people who have had surgery for intermediate-to-high-risk melanoma. Researchers will measure substances in stool and blood to see how the supplement affects the body's systems. The goal is to gather information, not to treat the cancer directly.
