New chickenpox vaccine shows promise in kids trial

Summary

This study tests a new chickenpox vaccine in 600 healthy children aged 12-15 months. The goal is to see if the new vaccine works as well as the approved Varivax vaccine when given as a second dose. Children will receive two doses three months apart, and researchers will measure immune response and safety.
