Summary

This study aimed to find the genes that cause Chiari I malformation, a condition where part of the brain pushes into the spinal canal. Researchers studied families with multiple affected members to look for shared genetic patterns. Participants underwent MRI brain scans and gave blood samples for DNA analysis.
